Anticorruption Prosecutor denies access to seized mobile phone

The Anticorruption Prosecutor, Luis Pastor, has opposed a request by Joseba Antxon Alonso to access his mobile phone and SIM card currently held by the Civil Guard's Central Operative Unit (UCO).

Alonso, identified by investigators as a business partner of Santos Cerdán in the company Servinabar, is under investigation in a case involving public works contracts. The defense had questioned the chain of custody of the electronic devices, following a recommendation from the UCO to avoid malicious links. The prosecutor deemed the request for access improper, noting that the iPhone 15 Pro and its associated SIM card have remained secured in police facilities since they were seized.
