Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association Completes Kitchen Management Training

The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) finished the second edition of its Kitchen Management Essentials programme, a two‑day training held on June 17‑18 at the Muriel O’Mard Campus. The course taught culinary professionals kitchen leadership, food safety, inventory control, food costing, waste reduction and service execution, and was led by Chef Olvanah Richardson, Executive Sous Chef at Blue Waters Hotel. Participants received certificates recognizing their completion and the association announced a follow‑up Supervisory Management Development Course scheduled for September 10 to October 15, 2026.

The initiative is part of ABHTA’s broader effort to strengthen the hospitality workforce in Antigua and Barbuda through practical skills development.
