Antigua and Barbuda police open satellite post for Carnival 2026

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has established a satellite police post at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) to manage security for Carnival 2026. The facility is located in the area previously occupied by the Sir Vivian Richards Players' Pavilion.

Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers stated the post serves as an operational hub to strengthen the police presence in and around Carnival City during the festivities, which are scheduled from July 25 to August 4, 2026. The initiative was supported by the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority, and the Townhouse Mega Store.
