Antigua and Barbuda targets yachting investment at Monaco Yacht Show
Antigua and Barbuda is targeting increased marine investment and new charter business at the 35th Monaco Yacht Show. Michael Freeland, Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, is representing the nation at the four-day event held at Port Hercule from September 23 to 26.
The delegation aims to promote the country’s marinas, historic harbours, and sailing facilities to a global audience of yacht owners, charter brokers, shipbuilders, and investors. Freeland is expected to engage with yacht managers and brokers who influence Caribbean winter itineraries.
The show features over 560 exhibitors and approximately 120 superyachts. This year’s programme includes a focus on sustainability through the Blue Wake initiative, which addresses emission reduction, marine ecosystem protection, and responsible yacht construction.
