Antigua and Barbuda to impound vehicles with illegal window tints

In Antigua and Barbuda, the Cabinet has instructed police to increase enforcement against vehicles with illegal window tints. Authorities are urging motorists to voluntarily remove non-compliant tinting to avoid impoundment.

Under the new directive, non-compliant vehicles may be seized and sent to the Government Motor Pool for assessment and tint removal. Officials noted that the processing of such vehicles at the Motor Pool could result in motorists losing access to their vehicles for at least two weeks.
