Guatemala Apertura 2026: Antigua GFC vs Municipal match rescheduled

The top two teams in the Guatemalan Apertura 2026 tournament, Antigua GFC and Municipal, will not compete in the tenth round as their scheduled match has been rescheduled. The decision to move the game to October was made because both clubs contributed several players to the national team for the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches.

Other matches in the tenth round include Comunicaciones facing Guastatoya at the Cementos Progreso stadium. In a recent fixture, Guastatoya secured a 2-1 victory over Comunicaciones. Other scheduled matchups for the weekend feature Aurora against Deportivo Marquense, San Pedro against Cobán Imperial, Suchitepéquez against Xelajú, and Malacateco against Mixco.
