Antin Infrastructure Partners acquires Vigor Marine Group
Antin Infrastructure Partners has completed the acquisition of Vigor Marine Group from an affiliate of Lone Star Funds. The deal brings one of the largest U.S. ship repair and marine services groups under the ownership of the global infrastructure investor.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Vigor Marine Group provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, as well as marine fabrication, to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, and various commercial maritime sectors. The company reported more than $1 billion in revenue in 2025 and employs approximately 2,700 workers across facilities in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, San Diego, and Norfolk.
Antin intends to use the investment to support additional capacity, advanced manufacturing equipment, and technology upgrades. The firm also plans to implement workforce training programs to address skilled labor shortages within the maritime sector. The acquisition occurs amid rising demand from the U.S. Navy and a broader effort to strengthen domestic maritime industrial capacity.
