Antipaxoi boat collision and Texas Apache helicopter crash reported

Two separate incidents have been reported involving maritime and aviation accidents.

In the Antipaxoi region of Greece, two tourist vessels collided near Butumi Bay. The collision involved a large boat carrying over 200 passengers and a smaller vessel with 10 people. The smaller boat sustained visible material damage and became wedged in the front of the larger ship. Three passengers from the smaller vessel were taken to the Paxos Health Center for precautionary medical examinations. No water ingress was reported, and all passengers are considered safe. One vessel docked in Paxos while the other proceeded to Corfu under the escort of the Coast Guard.

In Salado, Texas, a U.S. Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopter crashed during a routine training flight. The crash resulted in the deaths of both crew members. The incident caused a large fire in a grassland area, prompting emergency services to evacuate nearby homes and work to contain the flames. The crash site is being secured by the Fort Hood criminal investigation service to determine the cause of the accident.
