Priced at $2.99, the app can identify devices such as Meta Ray‑Ban glasses, Snap Spectacles, Amazon Echo Frames and RayNeo models, and may also flag Meta Quest headsets. It displays detected devices on a radar‑like screen with proximity estimates, but cannot determine whether a camera is actively recording.

The app’s popularity reflects growing public anxiety about covert filming. A YouGov survey found 54 % of Americans consider filming strangers without consent unacceptable, and a BBC report noted increasing wariness among young adults in nightlife settings. These concerns appear to be driving willingness to pay for a tool that signals the possible presence of hidden cameras.
