Antònia Latorre retires after 40 years in early childhood education

Antònia Latorre is retiring after forty years dedicated to early childhood education. For over three decades, she led the Mainada nursery school in Sant Cugat, an institution that closed in 2020.

Latorre emphasized that her pedagogical approach focused on personalized attention and play-based learning. She noted that her leadership aimed to prioritize the child's individual rhythm and emotional well-being, maintaining a high standard of care by ensuring two educators were present in every classroom.
