Antofagasta kindergarten inaugurates biodiversity-inspired mural

A new mural inspired by local biodiversity has been inaugurated at the Nubecitas del Norte kindergarten in Antofagasta. The project was a collaborative effort involving local families, the Jane Goodall Institute Chile, and the Roots & Shoots Chile program.

Created by urban artist Pamela Olivares Angulo, the mural depicts various species of native flora and fauna from northern Chile. The initiative aims to transform the educational environment into a space that encourages children to observe, explore, and connect with their natural territory, using art as a pedagogical tool to foster environmental respect and regional identity.
