Antoine Semenyo reaches 50 Premier League goal contributions

Antoine Semenyo has become the second Ghanaian player to record 50 goal contributions in the English Premier League. The 26-year-old Manchester City forward reached the milestone by providing the winning assist in a match against Coventry City.

Semenyo’s career tally now stands at 37 goals and 13 assists. He joins Ghana captain Jordan Ayew as the only Ghanaian to reach this mark, though Ayew remains the leader with 57 total contributions. Semenyo previously broke Tony Yeboah’s record for the most goals scored by a Ghanaian in a single Premier League campaign, finishing last season with 17 goals.

In the recent match against Coventry City, Semenyo faced fellow Ghanaians Brandon Thomas-Asante and Caleb Yirenkyi. While Semenyo has yet to score in the current campaign, he has recorded two assists in his first three appearances for Manchester City this season.
