On 9 July, Paris prosecutors placed lawyer Antoine Vey, former associate of Justice Minister Eric Dupond‑Moretti, under formal investigation for alleged moral harassment spanning 2016‑2022.

The case involves eight former collaborators and two former employees who described a management style marked by inconsistent directives, constant availability demands, shouting, daily solicitations, demeaning remarks and the use of “red cards” as a pedagogical device. Vey contended the red‑card method was intended to illustrate consequences and denied repeated humiliation.

One former collaborator also accused Vey of sexist, degrading comments and of touching her thigh between 2017 and 2019, allegations Vey disputes. He has been given the status of assisted witness for the related sexual‑harassment inquiry. Defense lawyer Emmanuel Marsigny argued that other testimonies portray a markedly different picture of the workplace.
