Anton Corbijn film A Talent for Murder features Helen Mirren

Director and photographer Anton Corbijn has released his fifth feature film, A Talent for Murder, which depicts the later years of celebrated American thriller author Patricia Highsmith. Set in the Swiss Alps, the story follows Highsmith as she interacts with Edward Ridgeway, a young editor sent by her New York publisher to solicit a new novel featuring her famous character, Tom Ripley.

Helen Mirren portrays Highsmith, capturing the author's likeness and presence during the final stages of her fifty-year career. Alden Ehrenreich stars alongside Mirren in the production. The film has been showcased in Berlin, featuring discussions with Corbijn and TOBIS CEO Magnus Vortmeyer.
