Anton Kutev outlines three priorities for 2027 budget
Anton Kutev, a deputy from Progressive Bulgaria, has outlined three primary priorities for the 2027 state budget: significantly reducing the budget deficit, maintaining social spending, and supporting economic development. Kutev emphasized that the ultimate measure of governance will be whether the administration succeeds in restoring a sense of justice within society.
Regarding judicial matters, Kutev stated that integrity should be the leading criterion for the upcoming selection of the new Supreme Judicial Council, noting that the goal is to elect the most honest magistrates.
Additionally, Kutev commented on the nomination of BTA Director Kiril Valchev as vice president in a ticket with Iliana Yotova. He defended Valchev's performance at the Bulgarian News Agency, stating that under his leadership, BTA began to better represent Bulgaria abroad, and argued that Valchev should not be characterized as a person of the GERB party.
