Antonello Venditti undergoes scheduled surgery in Rome

Italian singer-songwriter Antonello Venditti, 77, has undergone a scheduled surgical procedure at a hospital in Rome. While the specific nature of the operation remains private, reports indicate that the surgery was planned and was successful.

Venditti has chosen to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the reasons for his hospitalization and has not shared updates via social media. Current information suggests his condition is reassuring and there have been no reported complications. This procedure is unrelated to a previous emergency eye surgery he underwent in 2022 for a macular pucker.
