Antonia Eíriz Grant announced for Cuban visual artists

The Asociación Hermanos Saíz (AHS), supported by the Consejo Nacional de las Artes Plásticas (CNAP), has announced the Antonia Eíriz Visual Creation Grant. The call is open to Cuban visual artists residing in the country who are up to 35 years of age.

Eligible modalities include performance, environment, new media art, and video art. Applicants must submit unpublished projects by October 31, 2026. Winners will receive an accrediting diploma, a monthly payment of 5,000 Cuban pesos for six months, and support from the AHS to facilitate potential exhibitions of their work.

Additionally, the CNAP will allocate 30,000 Cuban pesos to fund the production of the winning work. The resulting piece is intended to be exhibited at the Juan Francisco Elso gallery within Pabellón Cuba. The jury's decision will be announced in January 2027.
