Antonie Zacpalová, mother of Dominika Gottová, dies at 91

Antonie Zacpalová, the former jazz ballet dancer and soloist for the Karlín Musical Theatre, has died at the age of 91. She was the partner of the late singer Karel Gott and the mother of his eldest daughter, Dominika Gottová.

Zacpalová, known in the arts community as ‘Tonička’, was also an actress who appeared in films such as ‘Okurkový hrdina’ and ‘Kdyby tisíc klarinetů’. Her death comes shortly after the anniversary of Karel Gott's passing.

Dominika Gottová’s husband, Finnish musician Timo Tolkki, confirmed the news, expressing deep grief over the loss of his mother-in-law. Zacpalová had spent her final years in a senior home in the Vysočany district of Prague.
