Antonia Zacpalová funeral arrangements secured after financial concerns

Following the death of Antonia Zacpalová, former partner of singer Karel Gott and mother of Dominika Gottová, arrangements for a dignified funeral have been made. Zacpalová, a former ballet dancer, passed away at age 91 after spending her final years in a senior care facility.

Initially, concerns arose regarding the costs of the funeral and the lack of a designated burial site, as Dominika Gottová was reportedly facing financial difficulties and remained in Finland. There was a risk that the municipality would have to organize a social funeral if no one claimed the body within the legal timeframe.

While Ivana Gottová, widow of Karel Gott, had expressed a willingness to cover the costs to avoid any embarrassment for the family, reports indicate that a long-time family acquaintance and supporter, Vlasta Ševečková, has stepped in to arrange and pay for the final farewell. The ceremony is expected to be a private event held within the family circle.
