Antonin Barak transfers from Fiorentina to APOEL Nicosia

Czech midfielder Antonin Barak has completed a permanent transfer from Fiorentina to the Cypriot club APOEL Nicosia. The move concludes a summer transfer period following his departure from the Italian side.

Barak expressed his gratitude to the Fiorentina supporters and the city of Florence via social media, reflecting on his nine-year association with the club. In an emotional farewell, he noted the pride of wearing the jersey and the impact of the club's community, while also paying tribute to late figures Joe Barone and Rocco Commisso.

His recent tenure in Italy included a loan spell at Sampdoria, where he struggled to find consistent form, recording 28 appearances, one goal, and one assist in Serie B.
