Spanish boxer Antonio Barrul successfully defended his WBA Iberoamericano super bantamweight title at the Gijón Arena. Returning to the ring after ten months of inactivity, Barrul maintained his undefeated record by defeating Venezuelan fighter Enderson Ollarves via knockout in the second round.
During the first round, Barrul established dominance and sent Ollarves to the canvas with a powerful right hand to the jaw. Although the Venezuelan fighter managed to continue after the bell, the momentum shifted decisively in the second round. Barrul landed a combination of punches that sent Ollarves down again, followed by a subsequent knockdown. The referee halted the bout due to Ollarves' inability to continue, awarding Barrul the victory by KOT.
