Antonio Boccuni, longtime Negramaro bodyguard, dies suddenly

Antonio Boccuni, the longtime bodyguard for the Italian band Negramaro, has passed away suddenly, reportedly due to a heart attack. The 57-year-old, originally from Genoa, had been with the group since their early years.

Negramaro released a tribute on social media, stating, “After all these years together, the void you leave is unfillable. Thank you for being part of us.” Frontman Giuliano Sangiorgi shared a personal message reflecting on their friendship and the moment he realized Boccuni had passed.

Boccuni was a well-known figure among the band's fans and within the Italian music industry, receiving condolences from various artists including Giorgia, Emma, Ermal Meta, and Lorenzo Jovanotti.
