Antonio Campos makes Canadian Premier League debut

Antonio Campos, a 20-year-old goalkeeper, has made his professional soccer debut in the Canadian Premier League for Inter Toronto FC. After sitting on the sidelines for the first 17 games of his rookie season, Campos was informed he would be playing just hours before the match on September 5.

His debut against Forge FC resulted in a 1-1 draw. Since then, Campos has helped Inter Toronto FC secure a 3-3 draw against Pacific FC and a 3-1 victory over Vancouver FC. The team is currently competing for a fourth-place playoff spot.

Campos is the son of legendary Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos, who played in two FIFA World Cups. His parents were in attendance to watch the debut.
