Catanzaro defender Antonio Candela has addressed the team's upcoming fixture against Ascoli, emphasizing the need for increased aggression and offensive improvement. Candela, who recently scored his first goal against Hellas Verona, noted that while the team is currently navigating a challenging period and lacking full confidence, they remain a strong squad.

Regarding the opposition, Candela identified Ascoli's attacking wingers as a primary strength. He stated that the team must focus on ball mastery and offensive creativity, suggesting that a stronger attack could serve as the best defense. He called for the squad to remain compact and play with more 'prepotenza' (assertiveness) to secure a victory for the fans.
