Antonio Carmona to headline Festival Origen in Castellón
The Festival Origen will take place on Saturday, October 17, at Parque Ribalta in Castellón. The event features a free musical program designed to attract both residents and tourists to the city's green spaces.
Antonio Carmona, a prominent flamenco artist and former member of Ketama, is the headlining act scheduled for 20:00. The lineup also includes a tribute performance titled ‘El Canto Da Estopa a Melendi’, which covers Spanish pop-rock and rumba hits from the 2000s. Other scheduled acts are Cía Aida Lara, La Cuarta Cuerda, and Cris Reyes, who will present a ‘Flamenco Tech Fusion’ set.
Arantxa Miralles, the Councilor for Tourism, stated that the initiative aims to strengthen Castellón as a year-round destination by expanding cultural offerings during the autumn months. The previous edition of the festival saw an attendance of over 4,000 people.
