Antonio Cassano criticizes Mourinho, Vinicius, and Ronaldo

Former Italian striker Antonio Cassano has made a series of controversial remarks regarding various football figures and clubs during recent media appearances. Reflecting on his own career, Cassano admitted to unprofessional behavior during his time at Real Madrid, stating he “deserved to go to jail” for his conduct.

In his current commentary, Cassano has targeted several high-profile individuals. He criticized Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, claiming his football philosophy is outdated and that he “only likes to talk.” He also offered a scathing assessment of Vinicius Junior, suggesting Rodrygo is a superior player. Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo, Cassano argued that the veteran no longer benefits the Portuguese national team and criticized his focus on public image.

Cassano also provided analysis on Italian football, specifically regarding AC Milan and the performance of Gonçalo Ramos. He expressed support for Milan manager Ruben Amorim but noted that Ramos requires better service from teammates to be effective. Additionally, he offered opinions on the Esposito brothers, ranking Salvatore as the most talented despite labeling him as “lazy,” and commented on the form of Cagliari's Alessandro Romano and Tottenham's Sandro Tonali.
