Antonio Cesar to face Joshua Perreira at ONE Fight Night 48

Brazilian MMA fighter Antonio ‘The Flash’ Cesar is set to face Joshua Perreira in a flyweight bout at ONE Fight Night 48. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 2, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Cesar enters the match with a nine-fight winning streak and an overall professional record of 14-2. This follows his unanimous decision victory over Lito Adiwang in July. Cesar, who previously held the Mr. Cage Flyweight Championship three times, credits his discipline to his mother and his first taekwondo coach.

Perreira holds a perfect 6-0 record and is noted for a recent 38-second spinning backfist knockout. The matchup serves as a significant test for both fighters as they compete within a crowded flyweight division.
