Antonio Conte denies advanced Manchester United negotiations

Italian manager Antonio Conte has issued a formal statement to deny reports of advanced negotiations with Manchester United or other clubs. Addressing recent speculation, Conte clarified that while his name has been linked to various teams, no discussions are currently in an advanced stage.

Conte, who most recently led Napoli to a Serie A title, stated he intends to take the necessary time to consider his next professional move. He emphasized that any decision regarding his return to coaching will be a result of mature reflection once appropriate conditions are met.

The statement also specifically addressed and dismissed rumors regarding his financial demands and requests for total control over club operations. Conte described these reports as “baseless allegations” and “pure speculation,” noting that there is no concrete basis for such claims. He maintained that if a specific opportunity arises, terms would be negotiated mutually with the interested club.
