Antonio Cordero scores twice for Cádiz CF in win over Leganés

Antonio Cordero, a winger on loan from Newcastle United, scored two goals to lead Cádiz CF to a 4-0 victory over CD Leganés. The performance marked Cádiz's first league win of the season after a period of winless matches.

Cordero, who rejoined Cádiz on loan for the 2026/27 campaign following a previous successful spell, scored his first goal with a left-footed strike early in the match and added a second with his right foot in the 70th minute. Having started six of the first eight league matches, Cordero has recorded three goals and one assist so far this season.
