Antonio Fagundes: eight death scenes filmed for Arthur Brandão in ‘Quem Ama Cuida’

Actor Antonio Fagundes returned to Brazilian telenovelas after six years and disclosed that eight different versions of his character Arthur Brandão’s death were filmed for the series ‘Quem Ama Cuida’ to keep the mystery alive. He joked, “Never have I died so much in my life,” and said the role could still appear in flashbacks or as a ghost.

Fagundes also commented on how modern production technology has changed the filming process. New lenses, better lighting and independent cameras improve image quality but require more preparation time, slowing the traditionally rapid pace of daily‑air telenovela shoots.
