Antonio Marques wins sixth season of Canta Comigo Teen

Antonio Marques, a 14-year-old singer from Cabedelo, has won the sixth season of the reality show ‘Canta Comigo Teen’ on Record. Marques secured the victory with 59.28% of the public vote, surpassing finalists Becca Moretti and Paulinho de Lima.

Throughout the competition, Marques emphasized Northeastern Brazilian music. His path included a comeback through the wild card round with a performance of ‘Lamento Sertanejo’. In the final, he performed ‘Respeita Januário’ by Luiz Gonzaga and concluded with ‘Eu Tenho a Senha’ by João Gomes. The win awards him a trophy, R$ 300,000, and the opportunity to release a professional single on digital platforms.

The competition featured several notable young talents, including 9-year-old Becca Moretti, who reached the final after high-scoring performances, and 16-year-old Tom Archângelo. Other finalists and semi-finalists included Giovana Moreira, a specialist in traditional sertanejo, and Mika Donadoni.
