Antonio Marziale to debut sociology book in Taurianova

Antonio Marziale, a sociology professor and former regional guarantor for children and adolescents in Calabria, will hold the national debut of his book, ‘Suggestioni Sociologiche’, in Taurianova. The event is scheduled for September 4, 2026, at the Giardino Antica Traccia.

Published by Laruffa Editore, the work utilizes a narrative format based on an auto-interview style derived from provocative questions posed by students. The book explores five key themes of modernity: sociological imagination, liquid modernity, modernity in dust, non-places, and the global village. The presentation is part of the ‘Vento d’Estate’ literary series and will include live musical performances by Raffaele Foti.
