Antonio Milošoski disputes Bujar Osmani’s claims on EU roaming

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Antonio Milošoski has accused former Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani of spreading false information regarding North Macedonia’s access to free EU roaming.

Osmani had previously claimed that North Macedonia would not be among the first countries to receive free roaming within the EU, citing reports that Albania and Montenegro are in a “fast lane” for inclusion by late 2026 or early 2027. Milošoski countered these claims by citing an official letter from the European Commission’s DG CONNECT, which confirms the appointment of a chief negotiator for the “Roam Like-At-Home” agreement between the EU and North Macedonia.

Milošoski further alleged that Osmani was utilizing misinformation from a Bulgarian portal to devalue the current government and the state.
