Antonio Morante claims strong polling for 2027 governorship bid

Peronist leader Antonio ‘Penci’ Morante has announced he is positioning himself as a pre-candidate for governor in the 2027 elections for the Partido Justicialista. During a radio interview, Morante shared results from two recent polls to support his campaign momentum. One measurement indicated a 37.5% approval rating, which would place him ahead of other profiled candidates, including Jorge Capitanich. A second measurement showed a 17% support level.

Morante is currently touring the province and participating in regional meetings organized by the Provincial Congress of the PJ to discuss candidate selection processes. He noted that his travels have revealed significant public anxiety regarding the current economic situation.
