Antonio Muto denies impersonating witness in David Rossi murder inquiry

Entrepreneur Antonio Muto testified before a parliamentary inquiry commission regarding the death of David Rossi, the former head of communications for MPS. During the hearing, Muto denied being the individual who approached lawyer Luca Goracci in 2016 using the same name.

Gianluca Vinci, president of the commission, explained that an unidentified person posing as an entrepreneur named Antonio Muto from Mantova provided precise details about the circumstances of Rossi's death three years after the incident occurred. These details were later found to be accurate, yet the witness subsequently disappeared. The commission aims to identify the actual individual who provided this information. Muto maintained that he has never met Goracci or David Rossi and noted that the lawyer had previously stated in television broadcasts that the person in the provided photograph did not match him.
