Antonio Rüdiger signs new Real Madrid deal through 2027
German defender Antonio Rüdiger has agreed to extend his contract with Real Madrid for an additional year, now running until 2027. The club announced the renewal on Tuesday.
Rüdiger, 33, joined the Spanish side in 2022 after his contract with Chelsea expired, and has made 182 appearances, contributing to eight trophies including LaLiga, the 2024 Champions League and the 2023 Copa del Rey. He said his recent focus on fitness allowed him to earn the new contract.
The extension comes as Real Madrid prepares a busy summer, confirming José Mourinho’s return as head coach and the signing of left‑back Marc Cucurella, with further targets such as Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries and Bernardo Silva mentioned.
