Antonio Senia appointed assessor in Castellammare del Golfo

Antonio Senia, a 69-year-old retired forestry worker, has been appointed as the fifth assessor for the municipal government of Castellammare del Golfo. Mayor Giuseppe Fausto signed the appointment, which brings the executive council back to full capacity.

Senia has been assigned responsibilities for infrastructure, agriculture, and the enhancement of Monte Inici. He previously served as an assessor in 2021 and acted as the mayor's environmental expert from 2023 to 2024.

His appointment follows the removal of Giovanni Todaro from his position, a move the mayor described as being based ‘exclusively on political-institutional reasons’ while maintaining respect for Todaro's previous work. Along with the new appointment, the mayor redistributed several other responsibilities among the council members, including environmental planning, municipal police, civil protection, and tourism.
