Antonio Tajani speaks at Itaca political event in Formello

The ninth edition of the Itaca political and cultural event commenced in Formello, turning Piazza San Lorenzo into a hub for institutional debate. Giuseppe Emanuele Cangemi, Vice President of the Lazio Regional Council, described the first day as extraordinary, noting the participation of regional presidents Francesco Rocca (Lazio), Renato Schifani (Sicily), and Alberto Cirio (Piedmont).

During the event, Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani addressed international scenarios and foreign policy. Tajani also drew attention through remarks regarding marriage and character, using a comparison between “flashy” individuals and more “reliable” partners as a metaphor for political choice. He suggested that voters should prioritize representatives perceived as dependable over those focused primarily on visibility.
