Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani experienced a sudden health incident during the opening ceremony of the 102nd Marino Grape and Wine Festival. The episode occurred in the Basilica of San Barnaba while Tajani was seated in the front row with other authorities.

Medical personnel from the Red Cross and emergency services (118) provided immediate assistance on-site. Reports indicate the minister may have suffered a sudden spike in blood pressure, potentially exacerbated by high temperatures. Following initial aid, Tajani was transported to the Policlinico Gemelli for medical examinations. His condition was reported to be under control.
