Antonis Remos to hold major anniversary concert in Thessaloniki

Greek singer Antonis Remos is preparing a major anniversary concert in Thessaloniki's Nea Paralia to celebrate 30 years in the music industry. The event, which features free admission, is designed as a large-scale audiovisual spectacle involving 1,200 drones, massive LED screens, and various guest artists including Despina Vandi and the Gypsy Kings.

The concert will include a dedicated tribute to the late singer Giorgos Mazonakis, following his sudden passing. Remos expressed deep sadness regarding the loss, describing it as a “lightning bolt,” and announced that he will perform Mazonakis' songs as a collective musical farewell.

Other artists have also paid tribute to Mazonakis; Konstantinos Argyros honored him during a concert in Belgrade, and Michalis Kvinelelis discussed their final collaboration on the song ‘Epitypes’. Due to an unexpected personal matter, Ronaldinho will no longer appear at the Thessaloniki event.
