Antonis Samaras moves toward new party as Greece's New Democracy outlines 2030 agenda

Former prime minister Antonis Samaras is quietly organizing a new political formation. He is concentrating on recruiting experienced figures and crafting a discreet political message, while private polls indicate growing interest. State Minister Akis Skertses outlined New Democracy's "Agenda 2030", stressing affordable housing, a more productive economy and a stronger international presence. He criticized opposition leader Alexis Tsipras and said the government now has the tools to expand housing, citing the construction of 19,750 affordable homes and support for more than 24,000 households.
