Antonín Kinský rises to Tottenham starting goalkeeper role

Antonín Kinský Sr., a former professional goalkeeper, has discussed the rapid career progression of his son, Antonín Kinský, who has established himself as the starting goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur.

Following his transfer from Slavia Prague in January 2025, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has undergone significant development. Kinský Sr. noted that his son has made an “incredible step forward” and a “huge progress” since arriving in England, particularly in his ability to handle the immense pressure at the club. He highlighted that the younger Kinský maintains a focused environment by avoiding social media and news commentary.

As the new number one for Tottenham following Guglielmo Vicario’s move to Juventus, Kinský is also awaiting his first international start for the Czech national team. His father expressed pride in his son's goal-oriented mindset while emphasizing that, at 23, his professional story is only just beginning.
