Antony faces injury doubt ahead of Betis-Porto Champions League clash

Real Betis midfielder Antony has emerged as a major doubt for the club’s upcoming Champions League home match against Porto following physical discomfort experienced during the recent victory over Osasuna.

During the 5-2 win at La Cartuja, the Brazilian player, who entered the match as a substitute, was seen showing visible signs of distress on the pitch. Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that the player experienced a small muscular issue, noting that it was unrelated to the previous ankle injury that had affected his recent preparation.

The medical staff is currently evaluating the extent of the discomfort to determine his availability for Wednesday's European fixture.
