Antártida series explores suspense and isolation in Antarctica

The Brazilian production Antártida, directed by Bruno Safadi, utilizes Estúdios Globo technology to recreate a scientific station in Antarctica. The suspense drama follows Inês, a researcher played by Marina Ruy Barbosa, who arrives at a Brazilian base only to wake up with no memory of the previous night and indications of sexual abuse.

Set in an isolated environment, the plot explores themes of paranoia, power dynamics, and structural violence.
