Antwerp Deurne on-ramp to close for Oosterweel works

The Deurne on-ramp to the Antwerp Ring (R1) will be fully closed this weekend as part of the ongoing Oosterweel connection programme. The closure is scheduled to begin at 23:00 on Friday, September 4th, and will last until 11:00 on Sunday, September 6th.

During this 36-hour period, motorists traveling from Deurne toward Ghent and Brussels will be unable to access the Ring and will instead be diverted through the Borgerhout interchange. This work is part of a series of preparatory measures scheduled throughout September to facilitate large-scale traffic changes and infrastructure improvements related to the Oosterweel project.
