Antwerp's Museumnacht draws record 12,000 visitors

The 20th edition of Museumnacht in Antwerp featured 31 museums and cultural venues, plus 13 new guest locations, attracting more than 12,000 visitors throughout the night. The Rubenshuis was the biggest draw, welcoming nearly 4,000 guests for concerts, installations and other activities in the Rubenstuin. Other popular sites included the KMSKA, MAS, the Sint‑Carolus Borromeuskerk, and the CoBrA Depot of The Phoebus Foundation.

The University of Antwerp’s mini‑museum, Museum to Scale, opened for the first time during the event. Artist Carole Czopp, known as Ziebel, created on‑the‑spot drawings on objects brought by visitors, turning t‑shirts, backpacks and other items into personalized mini‑artworks. The night concluded with a sold‑out after‑party, marking a record‑breaking turnout for the city’s annual cultural celebration.
