Anupam Kher to star in Swedish-Belgian film Out of Fashion

Actor Anupam Kher has joined the cast of the Swedish-Belgian film ‘Out of Fashion’, directed by Jens Jonsson. Filming for the project commenced this week in Stockholm.

The film, written by Sunil Munshi, features an international ensemble cast including Helena Bergström, Bahar Pars, Krista Kosonen, and Astrid Whetnall. The production is a venture between Way Feature Films and [Sic] film, with co-production support from Beside Productions, Film Stockholm, SVT, Film i Skåne, and Scanbox Entertainment.

Financial backing for the project has been provided by the Swedish Film Institute and the Belgian Tax Shelter. ‘Out of Fashion’ is scheduled for a cinema release in 2028, with Scanbox Entertainment managing distribution in the Nordics.
