Anupriya Nagar denies Akshay Kumar casting rumors for Hanuman Ansh 2

Co-producer Anupriya Nagar has dismissed rumors regarding Akshay Kumar joining the cast of ‘Hanuman Ansh 2’. The speculation arose after Nagar previously referred to the actor as her ‘favourite actor’ and provided a cryptic response when asked about his involvement in the sequel, stating, ‘Voh Maharaj ji batayenge’ (Maharaj ji will tell).

Nagar clarified to the Hindustan Times that the reports are false and that she has made no official announcements concerning Kumar’s participation in the upcoming installment of the trilogy.

The original film, ‘Hanuman Ansh’, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and based on the book ‘Divine Detour: That Changed My Life’, has seen significant commercial success. The spiritual drama has grossed over INR 408 crore worldwide, having previously crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India.
