Anupriya Nagar seeks blessings in Vrindavan for Neem Karoli Baba film
Anupriya Nagar, the producer of the upcoming film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, visited Vrindavan to seek blessings from saint Premanand Maharaj. The film is based on the life and spiritual personality of Neem Karoli Baba. During her visit, Nagar was also honored by the Ramayana Research Council at a ceremony that included a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa.
Nagar described the film production as a spiritual journey rather than a mere commercial project, noting that she has invested her personal savings to bring the life and messages of Neem Karoli Baba to a global audience.
The film has renewed interest in historical accounts of Neem Karoli Baba, including stories of his spiritual practices in Gujarat. Local traditions suggest he spent time meditating near a pond in the Morbi region, leading locals to refer to him as ‘Talaiya Baba’ due to his practice of performing penance while submerged in water.
