Anutin Charnvirakul celebrates 60 years of Chinese Associations in Thailand

Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the 60th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of the 9 Chinese Associations in Thailand. Held at the Teochew Association of Thailand, the event honored the long-standing role of the Chinese-Thai community in driving social and economic development.

During the ceremony, Anutin emphasized the deep bond between Thailand and China, describing the two nations as close friends who are closer than distant relatives. He noted that the Chinese-Thai community serves as a vital bridge for cultural, linguistic, and economic connections between the two countries.

Wu Zhiwu, the Chargé d'Affaires representing the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, also attended, characterizing Thailand and China as being part of the same family and offering well wishes for the continued success of the associations in serving their people and nations.
